Chris Kujawa

Chris oversees all aspects of HR to build a motivated and engaged global workforce, as well as a culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Chris is a seasoned senior HR executive with more than two decades of leadership experience helping companies maximize the potential of their people to drive business outcomes. Most recently, Chris was HR Vice President at American Express, focused on building global capabilities in the areas of human capital analytics, mergers & acquisitions, and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining American Express, Chris held senior HR positions at Ally Financial, Target Corporation, and Accenture, including a four-year assignment as the head of HR in the UK for Ally. He has a diverse HR background with global experience and expertise across multiple HR disciplines including total rewards, talent development, recruitment, HR operations, and HR business partnership.
Chris is co-president and a board member of New York HR People & Strategy, a networking organization of senior HR executives and thought leaders. He also serves as an Advisory Council Board Member for the Labor Market Advisory Board – Conference Board, which provides research on labor market trends. Chris earned his BA in Economics from South Dakota State University and an MA in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, where he recently served on the alumni board for the University’s Center for Human Resource and Labor Studies.
